Africa continent is rich, the only problems are corruption, bad leadership, poor decision making among African citizens and ignorance. These are proofs that Africa continent is rich. And Africa holds.

i. 30% of word’s mineral reserves

ii. 40% Of the world’s gold reserves

iii. 12% of world’s oil reserves

iv. 8% of world’s natural gas reserves

v. 90% of chromium and platinum reserves

vi. 63% Of the world’s cobalt production comes from the Congo(DRC)

Petroleum and coal are among the most abundant minerals for 22 out of 54 countries in Africa. Nigeria produce most of the continent’s petroleum which is 25%, followed by Angola with 17% and Algeria produce 16%. Ghana is the continent’s largest producer of gold followed by South Africa and Mali.ss
